And Ian Baker-Finch, one of the tallest major champions ever at 6-4, was born on this date in 1960 in Nambour, Queensland, Australia. IBF, who retired this year as an analyst for CBS, won the 1991 Open Championship. The tallest major winner was George Archer, nearly 6-6, who won the 1969 Masters.
