Today's note in Honor Arnie Week: In 1967, he had firsts in Los Angeles and Tucson, plus a second, a third and a 10th by the time the tour got to the Greater Jacksonville Open. So it was unexpected that he shot a 73 in Round 2 on this date to go with a first-round 75 and miss the cut. In today's biggest non-Arnie item: Grand Slam champion and Masters founder Bobby Jones was born on this St. Patrick's Day in 1902.
